RUUUUUUUUN!!!

The annual festival of San Fermín is underway now in Pamplona, a normally quiet town in Spain's northern Navarra province that comes alive each year with this long-lived festival. The most famous event during the festival of San Fermín is the encierro or the running of the bulls. Thousands of people from all over the world flock here to adorn themselves with red scarfs tied to their necks and waists, to bathe in an orgy of red wine in the plaza outside the town hall, and to await the release of a herd of angry bulls into the crowded streets. The bulls then race down the city streets, cumbersomely slidding and falling at times, goring red-adorned runners in their path, and finally running into the stadium to commence the bullfight wherein FABULOUSLY- and tightly-dressed matadores put on a show for the cheering audience that eventually leads to the slow death of the bulls.

¡¡ ES FABULOSÍSMO !!

First, everyone has to get fuckin' tanked.

Meanwhile at the arena, the boys are getting ready and putting on those gorgeoous outfits!!

RELEASE THE BULLS!!!

Let the bullfighting begin!

The Aftermath...

  1. I can't help but feel sadness for the cruelty to animals going on there, but then again, have to admit that at least the bulls get to gore the numbnuts doing this. Its a little more sporting than the "hunting" that goes on with "sportsmen" shooting deer.
And, yeah, some of those matadores look really hot!

I wonder how many (if any) people get killed for that event?

  2. One guy died the first day fo the festival this year from falling off a wall. According to Yahoo News, only 15 people have died since 1911, but the thing's being going on since the late 1500's. You does the maff.
