Motherload

Here's a fun little game I got turned onto today:

Motherload!

You're a little dumptruck, short and stout. There are no "levels" or ultimate goal; really you just want to have the most awesome of everything, I suppose. So be warned, it could go on forever. It's still incredibly fun anyway. By the way, It saves by creating a cookie on your computer so you can close it and reload your game any time you like.

Update:

In light of the tantilizing news on several accounts that this game can be WON and the people have "beat it" or "gotten to the end," I am anxiously trying to get to the bottom of it, literally. (It's not too often you get to appropriately use the word "literally" literally.) Upon hearing these rumors of what manner of evil might be lurking at the bottom I proceeded to cover my ears and babble loudly. I don't want to spoil the surprise and the challenge of it.

Amazingly, after a little searching, I found out how to take the Motherload with me -- the saved game, that is, from work to home. Macromedia Flash players can save data as a cookie and you can copy that cookie another computer. The miniclipxgenml.sol file is the one you’re after (at least on XP). Plop this bad boy in the synonymous folder on another machine, fire up the game, hit Load Game, and Viola! You’re back where you left off ... on another machine, that is.

Windows XP stores the file here:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourLoginHere\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\YourRandomAlphanumericHere\www.miniclip.com\

Windows Vista stores the file here:
C:\Users\YourLoginHere\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\YourRandomAlphanumericHere\www.miniclip.com\

Mac OS X stores the file here:
/Users/YourLoginHere/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/#SharedObjects/

Happy digging!
