I happened upon this by chance right in the middle then decided I had to see the whole thing, cause I wanted to see how it all turned out. God help me, it's a soap -- Coronation Street, Britain's longest-running. But this series of short clips some YouTubers have spliced out of the main tangled storyline and focused on Todd and his coming out story.
This poor kid had it rough, but he toughed it out. His story makes me realize how lucky I am in many senses that my coming out wasn't nearly as difficult...yet unfinished.
Part 1 - First Move
Part 2 - "Tell Her or I Will!"
Part 3 - Mama Knows!
Part 4 - Karl
Part 5 - Who Do Ya Fancy?
Part 6 - First Kiss
Part 7 - "You Closed Your Eyes..."
Part 8 - "His"
Part 9 - Boiz interrupted
Part 10 - "I'm Gay"
Part 11 - "Go Home, Gail!"
Part 12 - Billy
Part 13 - "It's Daddy."
Part 14 - The End

This show is awesome. It's usually on after Family Guy and has all the pop culture allusions of Family Guy but set in the 31st century. Here's a clip from one of my favorite episodes:

LOL....I was rollin' laughin'!
That's the uncensored SNL version. Of course, there are plenty people YouTubing themselves...

I'm watching some political show, and I don't know why, cuz this shit usually just makes me angry at these people . . . . They're talking about President Bush's coming revealing of their decision for the war in Iraq. And everyone's saying Bush is going to send in 20,000 more troops. But something one guy said made me laugh,
"All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Iraq back together again."
because I think it speaks in terms Bush can understand.
A local 42-year-old man died in custody after police arrested him with the use of a taser which rendered him unconscious. He later died at the hospital. The state is now investigating several recent cases where people have died from the use of tasers. Excessive force? Maybe...
But when you consider that the man was resisting arrest, running . . . naked down the street . . . away from his car that was involved in FOUR accidents that day . . . AND they found crack he was hiding in his mouth . . . maaaaaaybe it wasn't the taser that killed him. Maybe it was natural selection.
I couldn't make this up.

Apparently, this brand of coffee called Kopi Luwak or Civet Coffee is the most expensive brand of coffee in the world and is becoming increasingly more popular in the U.S.
It is actually a lightly roasted coffee bean found encapsulated in a partially digested berry that is removed from excrement of a small Asian mammal called the Common Palm Civet, a weasel-like creature which has been linked to the SARS virus!!
......*takes a moment to let you reread that and digest it*.....*again*.....
Now, I could say lots of things here about the ignorance of the American consumer public, China's responsive extermination of their Palm Civets, or even the fact that people are paying big bucks to eat roasted shit! ..... but I won't.
;-)
It didn't take long for this to get out. You all knew it would sooner or later...
Saddam gets hung
Anyway, so I saw this boy on DudesNude. He was a cutie, but he looked like he might not be all hallow inside. He's from the UK and living in Iowa of all places "for fun," he says...that baffled me.Me: *gets fucked*
Him: *takes condom off*
Him: Do you wanna suck it?
Me: *sucks it*
Me: *laughs a bit*
Him: Taste funny??
Me: Tastes like balloons! (Yea, I said it.)
Him: Haha!
...moments later....
Me: *reads condom wrapper: "extended pleasure"*
Me: Are these those desensitizing condoms??
Him: Yea, why?
Me: My mouth's numb! I feel like I just got back from the dentist!
(Double entendre not intended.)
Not to be a stick in the mud or anything, but I think too much emphasis is put on these partucular moments in life when the new year rolls around. I honestly can't remember where I was for new year's last year, and I don't think it's all that important. Last night I was at a party with a bunch of drunken friends...ok a couple drunken friends and a bunch of drunken acquaintances.
I tend to remember where I was when important things in my life happened. Like the time when OJ was acquitted and when the twin towers fell. They're the modern day equivalents of the moment when one found out that JFK was shot. You can ask anyone of them old farts (hehe) and they can tell you exactly where they were when that happened and how they felt about it. I was in momma's womb when John Lennon was shot. I remember it distinctly....ok I just deduced it, but still!
The point is, Pinky, that the stroke of midnight of a certain year does not warrant any real significance for that particular moment. Hell, I don't even remember when the 1000s place ticked over....maybe that was just because I was in college and in all likelihood completely licked! I do remember that AMC began playing 2001: A Space Odyssey at the stroke of midnight Jan 1, 2001...in its entirety, commercial-free.... a ze memories...
